Group Engineering Director

As Group Engineering Director, Quentin works across multiple languages and frameworks, however, specializing in Laravel. With a background in full-stack development, you’ll find him digging into the front-end too. Quentin is passionate about the craft of coding, leveraging best practices, and benchmarking new technologies to streamline the internal processes and deliver cost-effective solutions. His key engagements at AREA 17 include l’Opéra national de Paris, Pentagram, Open Society Foundations, Precision Run, Getty, and this very website you are using.

Quentin has been fascinated by technology for most of his life. At the age of 14, Quentin built his first computer and, at 16, started programming. He holds a Master's degree in Distributed Information Systems. Having worked in large enterprise companies to small pre-funding start-ups, Quentin joined AREA 17 with a diverse professional background. His work spans various industries, including medical, logistics, e-commerce, finance, insurance, editorial and social.

Quentin left the Paris studio to move to our New York City studio in June 2018. He has loved the chill vibes and the too many iced coffees of Brooklyn ever since. He is interested in virtual reality and enthusiastic about cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. If you want to make him happy, send him a GIF.
